Does anyone seriously have a problem with Sting's burgundy Breloom/Juice's proposed black Gyarados?

Everyone will hem and haw until they get what they want in a character... It would be good, however, to be logical. Rare colors catch attention, making it possible to identify the nearby trainer easily. Don't get me started on garados leather gloves. It doesn't concern me. If you look carefully, only one of my six Pokémon are stock sprites, and each one has a logical reason for the change. If you can BS genetics for it, or make up some other reason, go ahead, just expect downsides with any change you make.
