A man who only wanted to help people, got caught up in Sinister activity and was eventually used as a puppet for a good two years. Hates his current life and wishes it could all end.

[edit] Backstory

Originally born in Eterna city, his real name is Murrey Gingras, though only those he can trust know it. Fourteen years after he was born they moved to Viridian city for two reasons. The first was that his parents were uncomfortable with his placement in the Legend Youth, the second was to escape the war in Sinnoh, though it wasn't long before it hit the Kanto region hard as well. He always regretted leaving the Youth without saying goodbye to a girl he liked, Sarah, and another that had always been nice to him, Reina. His father died due to natural causes and his mother currently resides in Verdanturf town. The main reason he never uses his real name is to protect her.

Sting HAS fought in a war, the great war, though it was only for the last two years of it. During his time on the battlefield he found and saved Mimi (while she was a budew) and learned many different skills about strategy and guerrilla fighting. After the war pokemon types became more prominent, and although he wanted to keep Mimi, he was told that it wouldn't be possible unless he sided with Team Sinister.

His mother told him to seek out a great grass pokemon trainer from the Sinnoh region, one that she had trained with in the past. Sting set off and searched for three months before finding her hidden at a forest near the base of Mt. Coronet.

Gardenia had gone into hiding due to her affiliation with grass types, it took time but Sting managed to convince her to let him train under her. After one year of training she gave him a choice. He could either become an outcast such as herself, or join Team Sinister. Still not prepared to make the decision he left, thanking her for all of the knowledge, swearing he would keep her location a secret.

Returning to Viridian he went to university, four years he studied law, got his degree and became a lawyer. Opening his own firm was tricky, his first case was for one of the higher ups for the Sinister forces in the area. With the help of his clients contacts, he was able to get him off free. The member learned of Stings affiliation with grass types and pretty much forced him to join Sinister.From there he slowly climbed the ranks, his law firm began to gain power and soon Clint Hunter was a force to be reckoned with in the courts.

Two years passed, one day, the current Grass Typelord stepped down. They appointed Sting to be the new Grass Sovereign in thier place. Most people in the division were angered by this sudden change. But grew to accept it when Sting started to take active command.

Still relatively new to his position as the Grass Sovereign, Sting has only been in power for two years.

He isn't very skilled with pokemon battles, instead he tries to negotiate with his foes, either as a way to distract them or buy time while waiting for something else to happen.
